Today, I went to Mexican Museum. Weather was not very hot, not very cold, so was suitable. We doesn’t hard to walk, and we could enjoy landscape. Walking in the streets, we saw many murals on the wall of buildings. Maybe because Mexican does not rich, they draw on the wall. But it was looks free and I wanted to paint on the wall too.
When I arrived to Mexican Museum, I felt that it is different from Dusable Museum because the museum is more big size than Dusable Museum and there are many guides. We heard detail explanation from a guide. The guide was cool and cute. In addition, I appreciated him because he worked hard. Walking around inside of the Museum, I could learn the history of Mexican. What I first remember was eye. Just one eye expresses eye of various creatures. For example, an artist drew line of creatures with each other color such as a fish, eagle, human, and so on. And the eye of creatures was only one eye that was combined with the other eyes. A guide told me that Mexican thought that balance is the best important thing. So almost of exhibition were about balance. Moreover, because I believe Jesus Christ, I was interesting about the God. Actually, even though Mexican believed other religions, they began to believe Jesus Christ after Spanish came to Mexico because The cross of Jesus Christ meant each direction such as East, North, South, and west, and the god sacrificed for creatures.
In the Museum, most exhibitions were about skeletons, Jesus Christ and the history of Mexican that focused on balance. There were many tiny exhibitions, and I could understand the history more easily because the exhibitions detailed, and I was interested.
After we saw the Museum, we went to Mexican restaurant, and ate some spicy foods and Nacho. The foods were very delicious. I want to go there again If I have a opportunity.

NURFULS!!
My writing tutor's valuable toy is Nurfuls. Nurfuls is rubber balls that are combined with rubber and plastic, and looks like small dulls. They have different features because people can change the toy's clothes, faces, and hairs they want to. It is funny to change their appearances because people can mix clothes, face, and hair of each dull. So my tutor sometimes changed hairs or clothes between men and women. In addition, there are various playgrounds like roller coasters for the rubber dulls. People can create playgrounds and can build huge places by connecting other instruments. Then if people put rubber dulls into the top of a slide, dulls arrive in the bottom of it. Moreover, my tutor putted hamsters into the slide too because the size of hamsters is similar with rubber dulls.
When she was childhood, she always played with her sisters. However, because she is not live with her now, a memory about playing with sister comes into her head whenever she looks the toy. Now rubber dulls are in a basement. Sometimes she takes out the toy and play with her cousin.

Description...
July 20, 2005, I went to Dusable Museum with friends at Colombia College taking a bus about for 20 minutes. And we arrived at the museum after walking for 3 minutes. The architecture of the museum was simple and looked like did not invest much money. In the museum, there are 3 guides for accounting about African and American history. We could learn a lot of information about history of black people and moved to a place where there was information about Annie Malone. The woman was born in 1869, and she was an African-American businesswoman and inventor. She looking for a better method for hair care for black women who was using soaps or oils, so their hair was damaged. Eventually, she developed various treatments and found a Poro College in 1917. Although black people did not respected, she tried to make black women to be beautiful. After looking around a lot of information involved an achievement of Malone in the first floor, we went to a wide and modern down stair. In the floor, there were many stories about black singers. I entered a room that had many pictures about from old singers to modern singers, and the floor was played a jazz music. After talking about some music with classmates, we went to up-stair and taken a picture with all people who were Tune, classmates, and 3 guide. Then we went to a restaurant to have a lunch.
ANALYSIS...
In the Ducable museum, there were many pictures about black people. Many black people experienced a lot of pain and received the treatment of low levels. So there were pictures that show dieing black people and brutal scenes. After I saw the pictures, I thought that it is similar with the history of my country. Many decades ago, Korean were killed and injured from other countries before became independent. So we can see this brutal situation in Korea museum too. Chicago downtown is known for the city of wonderful culture and fashion. There are many luxury people who decorate their bodies by investing a lot of money. However, as much as that, there are many homeless people. They are almost black people. Although they do not try to earn money, it is a tendency that black people are ignored because they have no enough opportunities for earning money. When I saw employees in stores, there are more black people than white people. And I can see white people in the stores of high level. Of course, now most people deal with black people without discrimination, still some people ignore black people.
My Thoughts and Feelings...
We went to a room that exhibits the environment of black people. In the room, there were many pictures that expressed about black people: received a torture, pain. And the most confused picture was white people?s smile. Watching black people, all white people were laughed as they watch funny scenes. The situation made me to angry. All people were born as an equal condition. Black people did not wrong behave and did not injury to white people. However, white people ignored black people as only a reason: the skin of people was differ from them. White people are never more smart and distinguished than black people. This a biased view was impatient, I disgusted. In the room, There were not only many pictures but also a number of tools. Among the tools, the most remember tool was Manacles. The tool was used when black people?s wrists were bound. When I thought the serious situation, I was scared and flinched. Mannequins that express Wrists dropping blood and the marks of blood were very brutal scenes. Moreover, white people given harsh pain to black people as they were called hyena. White people deal with black people as wreak animals are suffered from strong animals. This biased situation remains even now. I think that this discrimination should disappear. Never, black people are not a object that people can ignore.

I want to talk about comparison between Korean and American family relationship. When I came to U.S.A, I was surprised that there are many families in a park. Whenever I go to parks or streets in Chicago, I see families who enjoy rest with their family members. However, In Korean parks, I can see many couples in a park rather than family members because there are some people who are very blunt among their family. And I don’t know about the thinking of Americans and Koreans exactly. So I think that it is interesting to investigate about two countries’ common behavior and thinking about their family members.
I want to take pictures about the view of Navy Pier and Millennium park plaza. And I know just the parks’ view that I can see, not the detail thinking of the people. So I will interview several people who come to a park. In addition, I will compare with two pictures of different styles by collecting pictures about the view of park in Korea.
In this project, I will be able to learn a point of difference about family relationship between Korea and America. And my audience can learn not only Korean culture but also American culture.

When I first came here, I was afraid to speak in english. However, gradually I got in touch with english and my fear about english dissapeared. In addition, I didn't know about the culture of America, so when people say "How are you?" it is difficult to say immediently "Fine". Of caurse, although I still have many troubles behaving correctly in Chicago, I'm learning a number of things about America culture in a class.

I like to clamber over jagged mountains. So, sometimes, I went to Buk-han mountain in Korea with my family. Crunching gravel is interesting because I can't hear this natural sound in the city. In addition, there are many stark plants such as trees. So I like to lie on a field. but whenever I lay on a field, I was bitten by imperceptible insects. Although there are many insects in the field, the field is a good place that I can rest. Consquently, I like to clamber over mountains because I can be in touch with the natural environment getting out of a noisy city.
